OIDA Christian University is an Accredited Member with Transworld Accrediting Commission International (TACI). Serving the Christian education community for over 30 years, Transworld is a federally recognized, non-profit church educational organization. Their philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in nontraditional evangelical educational institutions.

In addition, OCU is an authorized organization by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board sections 61.304 and 61.313(a) of the Texas Education Code.
